Caldwell Ultralift (UL6) Spring Balance

Ultralift sash window balances are double sprung, offering increased efficiency and a smoother operation. The double-sprung design offers the end user up to 70% increased mechanical advantage compared with standard operation. 

Ultralift balances can be specified for use in both tilt-in and standard sash window designs

• The range includes double-sprung and single-spring options 
• Suitable for sashes weighing between:
  • ​Standard: 4.5Kg – 27Kg
  • Heavy Duty: 27.5Kg to 31Kg
• Tilt and non-tilt sash options
• Supplied in 17mm diameter white PVC-U tubes as standard
• Brown, Grey, Cream, and Black clip-on tubes available -  when using clip-on tubes please allow for an additional 2mm to the overall diameter
• Suitable for PVCu, Timber, Aluminium and Composite Windows

Easy identification 

Ultralift balances are stamped with the part number, date of manufacture & sash weight they are designed to carry. This can be found on the balance tube near the top fixing location.
